GARDEN COACHING
We will come to your home and work with you to create and maintain a beautiful, healthy garden. We will help you identify pests and disease, teach you about using organic fertilizers, mulches and pest control products. We'll offer advice on choosing healthy plants, keeping critters at bay and harvesting your plants at the peak of their nutritional value.
DESIGN & INSTALLATION
We create a design plan specifically for your garden, incorporating the food plants you enjoy with drought tolerant California Native plants.
HOME ORCHARD CARE
We plant and care for all types of food bearing vines, trees and shrubs. We will develop a maintenance program that assures your trees will get the proper nutrition at the correct times of year and that they are pruned to provide optimum food production. We can identify and treat pests in your orchard using organic methods and we sterilize our tools between each tree on a property to prevent the spread of disease.
SOIL TESTING AND ANALYSIS
We’ll help you identify the type of soil you have in your garden and teach you how to improve the structure and integrity of your soil. We can test for macro nutrients and by observing plants currently growing in your garden, make recommendations for improving the level of micro nutrients.
MICRO CLIMATE ANALYSIS
We’ll locate the best area on your property to plant your garden and make sure that your plants get off to a good start by placing them in the right location the first time.
PERMACULTURE SOLUTIONS
We can help you incorporate food plants, animal husbantry, composting systems, rain water harvesting and grey water sytems to create your own urban homestead.
COMPOSTING SYSTEMS
Composting is a great way to improve your soil and cut down on waste to the landfill. We’ll set up a composting system that’s right for you and help you get started. We will check the progress of you composting system, diagnose any trouble you might be having and even turn your compost pile on a regular basis. We are experts in vermiculture (using worms for composting) and will deliver your wigglers then teach you how to produce your own worm castings.
FOLLOW UP AND ONGOING MAINTENANCE
After we install your garden we’ll be back to check on your progress and offer suggestions to improve your success. If you want us to come back on a regular basis, we offer maintenance programs to accommodate your needs. We arrive on time, bring our own tools and organic products and will even harvest your garden for you. Going on vacation? We can take care of your garden while you are gone and see to it that you have a thriving, productive garden when you return.
