Karen Contreras President and CEO
Karen has been farming/gardening for more than 30 years. She is a Master Gardener, Master Composter and sits on the Advisory Board of Roots San Diego and the Urban Farming Curriculum Committee at San Diego City College. Karen currently teaches gardening classes throughout San Diego and has been a featured speaker for the APLD, the ASLA and at the Sustainable Landscape Conference at Cuyamaca College.
To design, install and maintain beautiful, healthy, productive organic edible environments, to bring fresh, local, sustainable food opportunities to our clients and to encourage self motivated employee development by providing a positive and healthy work environment.
To create successful urban food supplies for local communities, secondary food producers and other businesses through organic practices as leaders in the urban agriculture industry.
